Going Green

Going Green

We all have a responsibility to look after our planet for the here and now and for future generations.

Typically the signage industry, of which HFC is part, have in recent history manufactured items using PVC or polyester base materials, because it is cost effective and provides high quality print and durable.

HFC are able to provide alternate materials for your items that are eco friendly and produced using recycled material or non pvc material and they themselves can be recycled. Added to this we have invested in state of the art machinery and processes that mean our inks and printing method is performed in an ecologically ethical manner

Detailed below are the eco materials we use and their usage.

Recycled Knitted Polyester and Recycled Display Polyester – These fabrics are used for our flags bunting and internal fabric banners.

Recycled Knitted and Display Polyester is made from recycled PET (polyrethylene terephthalate) goods, like bottles.

The yarn of the material is certified by DNV as attached.

PVC Free Banner

We can now offer our external banners as a PVC a PVC-free option. The PVC-free material is made from PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate), the most sustainable banner material available, providing the same print output as PVC. PET is the most recyclable plastic in the world and can be recycled repeatedly.

Paper Handwaving Flags with paper sticks

Made from sustainable, recyclable & environmentally friendly materials; both the pennant and the flagstick are made from paper, which are easily recycled with domestic or commercial paper and card.
